Treatment plans ranging from less-invasive steroid injections to more complex procedures, such as percutaneous disc decompression and implantable devices, including spinal cord stimulators and programmable medication pumps, are designed to balance patient safety with the need for effective pain relief.

The Integrated Pain Specialist Medical Director, Dr. Kevin S. Smith, is a Diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiology ABA, with a Subspecialty Certification in Pain Medicine, and is also a Qualified Medical Evaluator with the Department of Industrial Relations. He began his life-long focus on pain-management while attending to burn victims of the 1988 Radcliffe, Kentucky church-bus accident and fire that claimed 34 victims and 27 lives.
